Because of our unpredictable weather we are offering only plants that grow well in our climate and have grown well for us. If you have purchased a tomato variety from us in the past that you especially like please let us know. We will be happy to continue supplying you with that variety.
We do not sell the seeds; only the plants.
GMO confusion:
Although vegetable seeds that are sold to the general public are never GMO there are those who are not aware of this. Therefore we want to assure our customers that the plants we sell are the safest you can buy. They are open-pollinated which means the seeds can be saved and planted the following year to grow the identical variety. Many of them are heirloom. These have been handed down from generation to generation and known for their superior flavor.
We start our seeds that we save from year to year from our own tomatoes in early April in an organic starting soil. Our homemade soil mixture is a combination of organic potting soil, compost, coir, rock dust, green sand, egg shells, Epsom salts, alfalfa meal and kelp meal.
When you receive your plants they will be approximately 6 to 10 inches tall and should be ready to plant in your garden provided there is no danger of frost.
